Northern Ohio Negotiators Association

“dedicated to the safety of those in crisis”

To All Crisis/Hostage Negotiators,

There has been an interest generated in the forming of an association for the Crisis/Hostage Negotiators in Northern Ohio. The goal is to bring negotiators together for the purpose of sharing information, training and the ability to learn what other resources are available to them and their teams.

An organizational meeting was held to establish the Northern Ohio Negotiators Association on Thursday, November 1st. 2007. The meeting was hosted by the Southeast Area Law Enforcement Crisis Intervention Team. It was held at the City of Independence Civic Center. At that meeting a number of advantages to organizing were discussed. At that time it was decided to go forward. Now we have an organization that will have the input of the Crisis/Hostage Negotiators all around the State of Ohio.

We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to become a member. The Northern Ohio Negotiators Association has members from Federal, State and numerous County and Local Agencies. Your membership would strengthen our ability to become an association that will meet our members needs.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Respectfully,
